Our primary concern within this division is the safety of individuals who are working in a potentially hostile environment at sea. We have, over many years, built up considerable experience and expertise in providing, servicing and maintenance of specific life saving equipment. Operating out of our fully accredited service station in Aberdeen we provide quality Liferafts and Lifejackets to the Marine Industry.
Due to customer demand for reducing and controlling lifecycle costs of the products our manufacturers have worked relentlessly to achieve this goal without compromising on the quality and integrity of their products. As a result of their commitment to research and development we have been in a position to offer our customers an Extended Servicing Programme for a number of years.
Specifically with regard to lifejackets we have been able to demonstrate direct savings, often in excess of 50%, over the traditional annual service regime. This Extended Servicing Programme has already been accepted and is in operation for several Oil & Gas Operators in the North Sea. We have recently been approved by Zodiac to offer extended servicing on specific liferafts that they manufacture. Indirect cost savings, primarily handling and logistics, can be achieved by implementing this extended servicing programme.
